The sky over Belgrano

Rebecca More is bringing porn to the mainstream

I wanted to include a photo of Rebecca More, but they are too x-rated! Ha. So here’s the sky!

Rebecca More is my favourite person on IG.

Her mission is to remove the stigma sex workers often face in general society.

Unlike most people I know I have no issues with pornography. I watch it. I’m not ashamed to say that or to write it.

I am friendly with a few porn stars and I would have absolutely no problem with doing porn myself.

Only problem is no one has asked me!

In Canada sex is a taboo subject, still. Many people are uncomfortable with talking about it and doing it.

Canadians have quite an unhealthy relationship with sex in comparison to South American countries and most European countries other than England.

People here moralize sex in a way that reveals more about them than anything else.

I can’t stress enough how shame is weaponized in Canada. Those who shame though are mostly revealing their fear of something they want to do themselves.

There is a belief that pornographers are bad people, to be laughed at, ridiculed, dismissed. And I’ve never understood that.

A lot of women like to say that porn is degrading to women, but I beg to differ. It’s entertainment and a lot of it is role play.

This is not to deny that some women are manipulated into doing porn, but the vast majority choose to do it, believe it or not.

Howard Stern interviewed the iconic Lisa Ann and he asked her why she entered adult entertainment. Her answer was simple: it was the only place she could have the sex that she wanted and needed.

In gay culture porn is mainstream.

It’s not shameful. Many people I know make their own porn.

I’m happy with the work that Rebecca More is doing and I support all sex workers.

And sometimes, I have to admit, I’m jealous of the hot men they get to have sex with.
