From The Spectator: ‘The awkward truth is that in modern America, as in other parts of the developed world, the demand for “acts of racism” greatly exceeds the supply.’
Jussie Smollet is black, gay and was a working actor on a hit television show. He had money, fame, success. Instead of recognizing what America gave him, he decided he wanted more. How could he get this, he thought? By being a victim!
Now he has nothing. He is disgraced. This my friends, is your brain on social justice. It ruins many lives.
One has to wonder what goes on in the mind of a person who orchestrates his own “hate crime.” That he believed he could elevate his fame, fortune and value in Hollywood through victimhood is indicative of our current social and political climate.
Why couldn’t he just accept, embrace and appreciate his success? Success he achieved as a gay black man. Success that he owed to the social progress America has made. Again, we need to give up this victim narrative.
He had everything he wanted. Fame. Fortune. Success. He was making a living as a gay black working actor on a hit television show.
That could only happen in America. It couldn’t happen here in Canada that’s for sure.
Look at what the social justice mentality and mob does to you, this desire to constantly be a victim because it can make you even more successful.
It’s a racket.
It never ceases to astonish me how progressives in North America are incapable of recognizing progress. They want us all to believe we are living in a dystopia.
A dystopia where they can sit on their asses for 12 hours a day eating donuts and watching Netflix.
